This is a nice early linn lp12, this is in good condition for its age and has not been upgraded in any way apart from it has a felt mat instead of the rubber one!
it doesn’t have its base board, which was a piece of Masonite type of material
if I was keeping it I would make a nice birch ply bottom for it
the afromosia base is in good nick and would come up beautifully with an oil
the lid has no cracks but has some marks and swirls from use, would come out with a polish
these with a suitable tonearm are hard to beat for sheer musical enjoyment
fr12 on this with mc is sublime, as is grace 707 with supex sd900
