Epos ES14 in excellent condition.
This specific pair has brand new 100% authentic woofers recently placed. Most of ES14 speakers have cracked woofer surround or sagged voicecoil after decades of usage. Instead of repairing 3rd party non original woofer surround, Total Recoil Melbourne managed to source brand new pair of Epos woofers from Epos agent here in AU, and was told that this is the very last new pair here in AU and it cost me $450 alone and should provide new owner trouble free for next decades.
It also has upgraded crossover capacitor, Jantzen Audio Denmark 2.2uf CrossCap instead of genetic electrolyc cap originally came with and it provides more neutral and smoother high.
The speaker stands are custom open frame style made with solid Tasmanian oak. Original add-on stands were made of thin metal plates and it is ringing and this solid oak open frame stands does not ring and offer much better isolation.
Top of stands has acoustic isolation feet so further isolate the speaker and do not damage the bottom of the speakers.
The height is 51cm tall and it also allows speaker spike at the bottom so can be adjusted the height as you like. This custom stands cost me $350 and will be included.
Epos just released new version of this, ES14N and it is retailing at $7495.
I love this speaker but it is a bit too big for my tiny untreated room and I decided to go for active studio monitors.
