Some of the highlights cutting-edge technologies in the Kanta No 2' include: 

The Beryllium inverted dome tweeter, which is known for its rigidity, lightweight construction, and excellent damping properties. This tweeter design allows for precise and extended high-frequency reproduction, resulting in exceptional clarity and detail in the upper register. Then there's Focal's proprietary Flax cone technology is utilized in the midrange and bass drivers of the Kanta 2. Flax is a composite material made of a flax fiber core sandwiched between layers of glass fiber. This unique cone material provides a combination of rigidity, low mass, and damping properties, resulting in accurate and dynamic midrange and bass reproduction.

The Kanta 2 also employs a Tuned Mass Damper (TMD) system, which is strategically placed within the speaker cabinet to reduce unwanted vibrations and resonance. This technology effectively minimizes distortion, allowing for cleaner and more transparent sound reproduction. Then there's Focal's Focus Time Alignment technology to ensure precise sound dispersion and coherent playback. This feature aligns the drivers in such a way that the sound waves from each driver reach the listener's ears simultaneously, regardless of the listening position. The result is a well-focused and realistic soundstage with improved imaging and localization.
