I purchased this amplifier as a non-functional unit. The previous owner advised that it had been working perfectly until one day it powered on but remained stuck in standby mode. As it was out of warranty, he chose to replace it with a newer model.
I originally intended to have it repaired and use it as I’ve heard this same model in operation while overseas, and it sounded absolutely sublime., but I simply haven’t had the time to organise a repair. I know a couple of technicians in Brisbane—one has recently retired, and the other mainly works on older equipment—so I haven’t been able to find anyone suitable locally to take this on.
I do have the original schematics from the manufacturer, which will be provided to the new owner to assist with repairs.
It also comes with a quality remote, which I’ve been told is fully functional.
Pickup is preferred, but I’m happy to post at the buyer’s expense. Please note the unit is quite heavy, so I would need to source appropriate packaging materials.
