I paid USD350 for it, about 8 years ago.
If you are looking to digitise your vinyl at 24/96, to either:
- archive the digital file to your computer, for later playback
- or stream it 'on the fly' through Roon - so you can take advantage of Roon's Convolution capabilities (like I do)
... then this is what you need!
You connect the analogue output from your phono stage (or preamp) into the Linestreamer - and then a USB cable takes the signal back to your computer.
Due to the all-digital miniDSP which is now at the heart of my system, the Linestreamer is no longer needed. (I use an A2D converter to feed a coax digital signal to my miniDSP unit.)
