Further Information: MODEL MC220L(UN) , Version 4.0 converts your ethernet cable to optic to isolate noise from entering your dac .
Connect ethernet cable to 1 unit and a optic cable connects the other unit which then has a ethernet cable out to your dac , computer , laptop , server .
Each unit is powered by small 5v supply . One of the units is missing the yellow clip which goes over the optic cable to further insure it does not fall out , the cable is a very firm fit and unlikely to come out
this has been reflected in my price and I have included a ethernet cable made by Ghent audio a ET11 Belden 1303E Cat 6A constructed with the JSSG360 method with Metz connecters RJ45 8P8C .
