This is an excellent pre: current model which is just in a different case retails about the same as the Rega Fono 5 and in my opinion is better if you are chasing an organic presentation. I only recently purchased this off SNA to compare with a much more expensive MM phono coupling them with a Slee Elevator for MC usage. This amp has great clarity and warmth but doesn't quite have the nuance of the over 4 times this price "Spartan 15" preamp it was up against "DUH". Great value at this price, top condition, post is covered.
