JPS Labs Abyss AB 1266 Phi CC Headphones

The legendary Abyss 1266 headphones! This is the Phi CC (Ceramic Coating) edition. Note this is original CC, not upgrade of earlier Phi version.

It presents as new.

I have heard the CC and the most recent TC revision. They look/feel/sound the same to me. If you are looking for the most refined Abyss 1266 house sound at a sensible price, then the CC is for you.

Note - I am not changing to the TC, I have instead decided to invest heavily in a 2 channel set up. To date the 1266 CC has been serving as my "speaker" set up - as it sounds more like a real two channel system than any headphones have the right of sounding like. Its resolution, sound stage and realism are off the charts amazing.

Also the Abyss 1266 is not THAT hard to drive. Much easier to get to full performance than the Susvara. 

My asking price takes into account:

1. I have used aftermarket cables from day 1, so the Abyss cables are pristine

2. I have recently upgraded to the recent version of the headband. At a cost of about $500!

3. The earpads are in pristine condition - as new
