I've thoroughly enjoyed my time with these and am fairly certain I'll regret moving them on, but I have a couple of hefty purchases in mind and need the funds.
I've run them with 3 separate, fairly different amps (Weston 9 watt SET, Willsonton R8, Gryphon integrated) all have given amazing sound. They really showed the differences in each amp /change up the line.
They give that beautiful room-filling open baffle sound, have the most coherent and full sounding bass I've heard - it's no wonder the production version of these sells for 500% more.
These are 1 of four pairs of prototype open baffles manufactured by OAD.

They are lovely-sounding speakers that are a steal at this price, which wouldn't pay for the drivers.
The drivers are are Goldwood GW 1858 18 inch woofers, TB W8-1808 8 inch midranges and Dayton Audio AMTPRO ,air motion transfer technology ribbon tweeters producing a beautiful non fatiguing sound.
