A very nice bipolar, sealed Paradigm sub, in excellent condition. It comes with the matching Paradigm wireless module, which facilitates easy and varied room placement. I believe it can be wall mounted, or slid under a couch if you want.
This is a surprisingly expensive unit new...... $2,700 was the cheapest I could find, with several Aus sited selling them for $3,400! So a really good deal at this price and condition.
Pickup from 2257, OR I could get it down to Neutral Bay for pickup. I don't have the original case, BUT can pack it for mailing, as it's surprisingly non heavy. Buyer to pay post + insurance.
The wireless module allows direct sub-out connection, as does the unit itself. The wireless unit also allows speaker level in / out with bleed off of the sub signal to be sent wirelessly.

# Paradigm MilleniaSub Subwoofer: User Review Summary
Based on available user reviews and professional assessments, the Paradigm MilleniaSub receives positive feedback overall, though opinions vary on specific aspects.
## Sound Quality
Users consistently praise the bass response and clarity. The subwoofer's standout feature is its adjustable bass tuning, allowing users to dial in either broad bass response or tight, punchy bass. Reviewers note that it delivers strong, tight, and clear bass with good upper-bass response that avoids bloat even at higher crossover frequencies. One user described the bass as "rich, full" and praised how "you can feel the solid bass but cannot determine where it comes from." However, some professional reviews suggest the subwoofer can sound slightly underpowered during demanding high-volume playback with modern rock or action movie soundtracks.
## Build Quality and Design
The compact size is a major strength. Users appreciate that it fits under furniture like sofas and works well in space-constrained environments. One reviewer noted it's "a LOT more compact" than their previous subwoofer while delivering superior performance. Build quality is described as reference-level, though one professional review noted the build quality is higher on more expensive Paradigm models.
## Connectivity and Controls
A limitation is the RCA-only input without extensive connectivity options. A wireless kit is available as an accessory. The subwoofer features a convenient auto on/off function. One model variant (Millenia CT) lacks manual volume controls on the control box itself, requiring the remote for adjustments.
## Reliability and Long-Term Use
Long-term reliability appears solid. One user reported replacing a 1999 Sony subwoofer with the MilleniaSub and expressed complete satisfaction. However, the search results don't provide extensive failure data or warranty information.
## Overall Reputation
The MilleniaSub is regarded as a premium option worth the investment despite its higher price point. Users recommend it particularly for small to medium home theater setups and music listening, though it may struggle in very large rooms or during extremely demanding playback. The consensus treats it as a high-quality solution for space-constrained audio enthusiasts willing to pay a premium.

The fair market price for the Paradigm MilleniaSub (Reference Bass Subwoofer) is approximately AUD $2,500–$3,400 based on available market data.
## Price Analysis
Recommended Price Range:
- New condition: AUD $2,500–$3,100 (conservative estimate based on USD pricing converted and regional markups)
- Used condition: AUD $1,800–$2,500 (typically 25–35% discount from new)
Supporting Data:
The MilleniaSub carries a USD list price of $1,699.99. One Australian retailer lists it at AUD $3,395, while another references "RRP" pricing requiring direct inquiry. Given typical USD-to-AUD conversion rates (1 USD ≈ 1.45–1.55 AUD) plus regional distribution markups and GST, the AUD $2,500–$3,100 range for new stock represents a conservative and fair market estimate.
## Key Price-Affecting Factors
Product specifications supporting premium valuation:
- Dual-driver sealed box design with vibration cancellation technology
- 900 watts Dynamic Peak / 300 watts RMS sustained power
- Wireless capability (Paradigm PT-1 Wireless Transmitter, 50 ft range)
- Extended low-frequency response to 21 Hz (DIN)
- Advanced Ultra-Class-D amplifier with USB equalization support
Variables affecting individual pricing:
- Regional retailer markup — Australian distributors typically add 40–60% to USD pricing
- Condition — New stock commands premium; used units reflect wear and warranty status
- Included accessories — Wireless transmitter bundle vs. basic package affects value
- Retailer location — Major cities (Sydney, Melbourne) may have slightly lower prices than regional areas
- Availability — Limited stock can increase pricing; clearance scenarios lower it
The Paradigm MilleniaSub positions itself in the high-end subwoofer category, and pricing reflects this positioning alongside comparable branded competitors in the reference-grade segment.
