Zesto Andros Deluxe MM/MC Phonostage

Up for grabs is my Zesto Andros Deluxe valve Phonostage. An extremely highly regarded and award winning Phonostage made entirely in the USA. This Phonostage is an all valve design based on a dual mono circuit for better stereo separation. Being an entirely balanced topology also results in  a sound presentation of a very holographic nature, great soundstage with a very natural presentation. 

Loading options for MC are plentiful and range from 100 ohms up to 1000 ohms and beyond. Gain can also be adjusted accordingly to match your cartridge for both low and high output moving coil cartridge and not one but two ground switches are included to reduce noise to a bare minimum. Moving Magnet cartridges are also catered for. 

Valves that are used on this unit are of the 12AX7 variety(2 of these) and 12 DW7(2 of these) which is a hybrid of a 12 AX7 and a 12 AU7. So only 4 valves involved which is great for keeping costs down. These are both easily sourced via the tube store here in Australia. 

Currently I have a mixture of NOS Mullards as the 12DW7 and 2 new Tungsol’s as the 12AX7’s. This combination of new and old works extremely well. The marks on the unit are superficial and could potentially be removed. The remainder of the unit is in as new condition. I do have all the original shipping boxes. I am the second owner of this unit having previously bought off Stereonet. Reasonable offers considered. New price is close to 9000 Euros new.
